Get a simple description of the scene in front of you. This feature works by taking a photo, which is then processed and the description is spoken out. The description is AI-generated, hence not 100% accurate but sufficient to get a general understanding of what's in front of you. This is ideal for understanding and exploring new places and environments.

How to active Describe Scene?
To have the scene in front of you described, follow these steps:
Step 1: Tap on the second tabIdentify.
Step 2: Now tap on the first feature called Describe Scene.
Step 3: You will hear a sound which means Describe Scene is now active and it is analyzing the scene that your camera is pointing at.
Step 4: Once it is done analyzing, it will speak out the results.
Step 5: Tap again on the Describe Scene button to have another scene described.
How to save the described scene in your phone library?
Once you have taken a scene description, if you are an iOS user you can save this photo in your personal library on your phone. When you use VoiceOver, the photo’s description generated by Envision will be spoken out.
To save the described scene in your phone’s library, follow these steps:
Step 1: Follow the same steps as explained above.
Step 2: Below the description, you will find a button stating: Save with description.
Step 3: Once you tap on this, your photo will be saved to your library.
Step 4: It might ask if it wants access to your photo library on your phone, allow access so it can be saved.
Can Envision recognise taught faces in Describe Scene?
If a person whose face was taught within the Envision App is in the scene, their name will be included in the scene description. For more information, see Teach Envision
