We want ally to feel familiar and easy to use—no matter where you’re from or what language you speak.
To make that possible, we’re translating ally’s interface into as many languages as we can, with the help of our amazing community.
If you’d like to support this effort, you can join us on Crowdin, the platform we use to translate the app’s text, also known as strings.
Log in to Envision’s Crowdin page and help translate from English into your native language. Every contribution helps more people feel at home with ally.
How to start supporting translations?
To start translating in Crowdin, follow these steps:
Step 1: Tap here to sign up and log in.
Step 2: Tap on a project that you would like to translate: ally, Envision App, Envision Glasses, or Envision Companion app.
Step 3: Now tap on the language that you want to translate.
Step 4: Tap on the strings.xml file, this will open the editor.
Step 5: You can now start translating strings! The good news is that Crowdin is accessible for screen readers and there are keyboard shortcuts that will speed up the process of translating strings.
