ally is the most accessible AI assistant—like calling a helpful friend who always picks up. Whether you’re asking for advice, scanning a document, or pointing at a menu, ally is ready to support you, wherever you are.
This guide walks you through: how to open ally in your browser, how to create your account and verify your phone number and what permissions to allow so ally works properly.
Open ally in your browser
- ally works best on modern, up-to-date browsers. It’s optimized for Chrome and Safari.
- Using an older browser may limit some features or cause issues
- Open ally in your browser by tapping here. If you’re using a screen reader, wait for the page to fully load
- Tap or click the Let’s Start button. You’ll be taken to a screen where you can either get to know ally or sign in.
- To begin setting up your account, select the I already have an account option.
- Even if it’s your first time, this is the right path to create your profile and get started. Once you choose that option, ally will guide you through creating your account.
Create your ally account
- You’ll be asked how you’d like to continue. The options are: Continue with Google and Continue with Email
- If you’re not sure which one to pick, Continue with Email is a good place to start.
- After that, enter your email address and then your mobile phone number. Make sure your phone has signal, as ally will send you a six-digit verification code by text message
- When the code arrives, type it in where prompted. This step confirms your identity and activates your ally account and that’s it—you’re in. You’re now ready to start using ally.
Allow Permissions
- To use ally, please make sure your microphone and camera are enabled.
- When prompted, select allow or yes to give the required access.
- If you accidentally deny access, you can change this later in your browser settings under site permissions.
